Lakewood Ranch is a large planned community east of I-75, spread across parts of Manatee and Sarasota counties. New villages, offices and retail centers keep opening, which means many businesses here are introducing themselves for the first time.

That is a specific video problem. An established downtown business can lean on years of reputation. A practice or a firm that opened recently has to earn recognition from people who moved in recently too.

Filming in a planned community

Much of what looks public here is privately managed: village centers, parks, clubhouses, gated neighborhoods. Filming in those spaces usually needs permission from the association or whoever manages the space.

We ask early and plan around the answer. When a client is the venue or the tenant, access is simple. When it is not, we choose locations where permission is clear.

The landscape is open, with lakes, preserves and wide skies. It photographs well from the air, and aerial cinematography is available where the location allows it.
